This page consists of a hand-edited list of links to other sites on the Internet. We've included four different categories of websites on this page:
When you're surfing the Internet, you'll find more interesting content if you follow suggestions from webmasters, rather than relying on search engines to find your content.
Fantasy
Flight Games is the official site for the Arkham Horror board
game. The site offers detailed information about what's included in the box
when you buy each expansions, and their are also a lot of pictures of their
products. They also have
message boards for players of the game.
The Arkham Horror Wiki contains more information about the board game than any site could ever hope to, mostly because it's a community-written and community-edited project. If you're looking for lists of investigators in the game and its supplements, or information about the different locations in the game, then this is the ultimate resource.
The HP Lovecraft Archive isn't specifically an Arkham Horror site, but it's a better fit here than in the general horror websites section, because without HP Lovecraft, Arkham Horror wouldn't exist. The site includes a detailed HP Lovecraft biography and information about his writings.
The Open Directory Arkham Horror Category is a volunteer-edited list of links to Arkham Horror websites.
Horror DVDs presents articles and opinions about watching and collecting horror movies on DVD and Blu-ray. The section about rare horror DVDs will probably be of exceptional interest to collectors. That site also has a great horror links page.
Horror Forum - One of the members there likes to post that HorrorForum.com is the only horror forum on the Internet where the members are treated like family. I don't know how accurate that is, but the discussions there are usually pretty interesting. And the site includes an H.P. Lovecraft forum and a horror games forum.
Shock Til You Drop is my favorite horror movie news and reviews website. The site is a little advertising heavy for my tastes, but the ads aren't intrusive, and the rest of the site navigation is simple and intuitive.
Board Games Pub features dozens of pages about specific board games, including a page about the Arkham Horror board game. The site also provides a really cool list of horror board games.
Play Card Games contains articles about card games of all kinds, including traditional card games and more interesting card games like the Dominion card game. I hope they expand the site to include coverage of the occasional horror card game, like Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game and some of the card games based on White Wolf's World of Darkness.
RPG Collecting focuses on the collecting aspect of the RPG hobby, rather than the playing aspect. You'll find information about RPG dice and RPG miniatures, as well as articles about collecting Call of Cthulhu, the Pendragon RPG, and just about any other collectible RPG you can think of.
Communizine - This is a blog written by multiple authors, and it covers a wide variety of subjects. You might find a Tunnels and Trolls review one day, and an article about Super Bowl menus on another day.
Suspense Movies is a site about film noir and classic tough guy movies. Steve Badger, who's better known as a poker player, wrote the content there. It's a great example of a personal website that covers a subject near and dear to the author's heart. I especially like his coverage of Alfred Hitchcock's less well known films, and also his coverage of Anthony Mann movies.
Xenite was originally a fan site for Xena: The Warrior Princess, but it quickly expanded to include coverage of a wide variety of science fiction and fantasy related topics. I especially enjoy the site's coverage of white cheese dip and Middle-Earth.
