Writers of Lovecraftian horror include notable modern horror authors like Stephen King, but not all of his work can be considered Lovecraftian horror. When H.P. Lovecraft was still living, even more Cthulhu Mythos authors were working in the genre, and like Stephen King, most of them did not work exclusively in this genre.
